Durham Walking Tours

In an earlier collaboration (2012) with Preservation Durham we developed prototype augmented reality-enhanced walking tours in the city.  This project was an early example of how we have been exploring AR as a way to create hybrid physical-virtual experiences of urban locations, and has led to subsequent projects in various other locales. In 2016-17 we are looking at ways to partner with Preservation Durham  on bring the Open Durham site to life through the latest mobile technologies and platforms.
